U.S. Patent # 4,084,584 This adaptation of the Dr. “M” employs the exclusive elastic “dogbone” strap. Designed to apply specific pressure over the lateral and medial menisci. This pressure over the felt horseshoe buttress also provides a positive track for problem patella tracking. Elastic “dogbone” straps attach above and below the patella opening with the aid of hook-and-loop fasteners, without interfering with normal patella tracking. The two standard straps provide a secure locking of the elastic straps while providing a customized fit. Available in beige or black, N2 material only.
